Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Built To Pass, including our website, course content, assessments, and any related tools. By creating an account or enrolling, you agree to them.

If you are using Built To Pass through a school, district, university, or other organization, your access may also be subject to that organization’s agreement with us. Where the two conflict, the organization’s agreement controls for that access.

You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent, guardian, or sponsoring institution, to hold an account.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.

Accounts are for one person. Built To Pass limits the number of devices that can be signed in to a single account at a time. If you have a legitimate reason for more, contact us and we can adjust it.

Sharing an account, distributing your credentials, or reselling access is grounds for suspension without refund.

You can request deletion of your account at any time. We remove your personal information and keep only what we need for legitimate business and legal purposes, in the manner described in our Privacy Policy.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Prices are shown before you pay. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

Your enrollment is confirmed when payment is completed and your access period begins at that point. Access continues for the period described at the time of purchase.

If a free trial is offered, the terms of that trial are shown when you start it, and access to trial content ends when the trial period does.

Refunds are handled under the refund terms presented at the time of purchase. If none were presented, contact us and we will work it out in good faith.

Organizations may purchase seats and distribute access codes to their people. Each code grants access to a set number of individual accounts and may carry an expiration date.

Access codes are not transferable outside the purchasing organization and may not be sold, published, or shared publicly.

We may deactivate a code that is being distributed outside the terms of the purchase.

If you refer someone using your personal referral link and they complete a first purchase, we may issue you an account credit. The credit amount is the one shown at the time the referral is made.

Credits apply to future charges on your account. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed for money.

We may withhold or reverse credits obtained through self-referral, duplicate accounts, or other artificial means.

The course content, assessments, question banks, written materials, videos, and the exam strategy methods taught inside Built To Pass are our intellectual property or are used under license.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the content for your own exam preparation for as long as your access is active.

You may not copy, record, screen-capture, download, republish, translate, resell, or use our content to build or train a competing product or service, including automated systems.

Our proprietary strategy methods are taught inside paid content. Reproducing or teaching them outside the platform is not permitted.

Notes you write inside the platform belong to you. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display them back to you.

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe our systems, scrape content, or interfere with other people’s use of the platform.

Do not upload anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful, and do not misrepresent who you are.

Built To Pass teaches exam preparation and strategy. Do not use it to obtain or distribute live, secured, or otherwise confidential exam content. Our practice questions are original and are not reproductions of any exam.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.

Some features use AI to generate practice questions, explanations, and study feedback. Your prompts and the surrounding lesson context are sent to our AI provider to produce a response.

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Treat it as a study aid, check it against authoritative sources, and do not rely on it as the final word on exam content or scoring.

AI features may carry usage limits, and those limits may change.

Built To Pass prepares you for an exam. We do not administer, score, or influence any exam, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any testing organization or state agency unless we say so explicitly.

We do not guarantee a passing score, certification, licensure, employment, or any other outcome. Results depend on your preparation and on factors outside our control.

The platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page, and continued use after they take effect means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
