What people get wrong
Each of these costs a candidate either money or a test date.
- Health and Physical Education is a P-12 field, so it takes Fundamentals of the Science of Reading (350), not Application (418).
- Georgia still requires a literacy assessment for PE. Teaching a non-reading subject does not exempt you.
Required, but not an exam
- A bachelor’s degree
- A GaPSC-approved or GaPSC-accepted educator preparation program, including GaTAPP
- Georgia certification application through MyPSC
Now go pass them.
Knowing the list is the easy part. Built To Pass teaches the strategy layer that works on any of these, aimed at the domains where you are actually losing points.
Start with your examVerified 2026-08-04 against GaPSC Rule 505-2-.26, Certification and Licensure Assessments (effective 1 July 2025). Certification rules change by state board vote. Confirm with the state before you register for a test.
