What people get wrong

Each of these costs a candidate either money or a test date.

  • Middle School Mathematics (6-8) is a separate endorsement using test 5164 at 157. Confirm your band before registering.
  • Colorado runs no separate pedagogy exam. The content tests are the whole testing requirement.

Required, but not an exam

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • An approved educator preparation program, or an alternative licensure program
  • Fingerprinting and application through the CDE online licensing system
