The only test Utah mandates for these areas.

Blueprint not published yet. The exam is still required.
What people get wrong
Each of these costs a candidate either money or a test date.
- A single reading assessment covers Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education in Utah. There is no elementary content battery to sit.
- The Pedagogical Performance Assessment is no longer required. Utah dropped it on 10 June 2024, so guidance written before that date overstates what you owe.
- UFORA is listed without a link because we hold no verified blueprint for the Utah edition. It is still required.
Required, but not an exam
- A bachelor’s degree
- A USBE-approved preparation program, or an approved alternative route
- Background check and application through USBE
Now go pass it.
Knowing the list is the easy part. Built To Pass teaches the strategy layer that works on any of these, aimed at the domains where you are actually losing points.
