What people get wrong
Each of these costs a candidate either money or a test date.
- Ohio pairs every content test with an Assessment of Professional Knowledge for the matching grade band. Primary takes 057, Middle Childhood takes 002, Adolescence to Young Adult takes 003 and Multi-Age takes 004.
- Foundations of Reading (190) is separate from the reading content inside 055, and both are required.
Required, but not an exam
- A bachelor’s degree
- An approved educator preparation program, traditional or alternative
- Background check and application through the Ohio educator licensure system
Now go pass them.
Knowing the list is the easy part. Built To Pass teaches the strategy layer that works on any of these, aimed at the domains where you are actually losing points.
