What people get wrong
Each of these costs a candidate either money or a test date.
- Georgia has two different literacy assessments. Elementary Education takes Application of the Science of Reading (418), not Fundamentals (350). Sitting the wrong one does not satisfy the requirement.
- Elementary Education 702 banks its testlets. You can take them separately and retake only the ones you did not clear, at a lower fee than the full assessment.
- The ethics assessment is scored out of 100 with a passing score of 77, not on the 220 scale the content tests use.
Required, but not an exam

- A GaPSC-approved or GaPSC-accepted educator preparation program, including GaTAPP
- Georgia certification application through MyPSC
