What people get wrong

Each of these costs a candidate either money or a test date.

  • Arkansas has moved to the 8000-series Fundamentals tests. The older Multiple Subjects battery (5001) is still accepted at 141, 136, 137 and 139, so confirm which your program expects.
  • At 126 to 137, these are the lowest cut scores of any state mapped here. That is a genuine state policy choice, not an error.
  • The four Fundamentals subtests are listed without links because we hold no verified blueprint for the 8000 series yet. They are still required.

Required, but not an exam

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • An approved educator preparation program, traditional or alternative
  • Background check and application through the state certification office

Now go pass them.

Knowing the list is the easy part. Built To Pass teaches the strategy layer that works on any of these, aimed at the domains where you are actually losing points.
