What people get wrong
Each of these costs a candidate either money or a test date.
- The OGET and the OSAT pass at 240, but the Assessment of Professional Knowledge passes at 220. Three tests, two different cut scores.
- Early Childhood is a different OSAT from Elementary Education. 205 does not substitute for 150/151, or the other way round.
Required, but not an exam
- A bachelor’s degree
- An accredited teacher preparation program, traditional or alternative
- Background check and application through the Oklahoma State Department of Education
Now go pass them.
Knowing the list is the easy part. Built To Pass teaches the strategy layer that works on any of these, aimed at the domains where you are actually losing points.
